This lovingly illustrated book deals with an important issue for kids and adults alike: when we consider environmental threats such as habitat loss and global warming, it can be scary, and we can feel overwhelmed and powerless. Kiran’s grandmother provides a solution. Kiran can come to the bog with her and care for “a bit of the planet right here practically in our backyard that needs looking after.” Kiran’s observations are simply inspirational!
