One of the best idea books for adults working with children, this title is filled with creative outdoor activities and includes age appropriate suggestions. Collecting textures, creepy crawler races, and growing a sock (which teaches one seed dispersal mechanism as well as basic propagation techniques and vocabulary to children as young as three) should all be favorites.
